Workspace Guard does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Period.
Workspace Guard hides or blocks specific features inside Google Workspace applications (such as image search, video insertion, emojis, and embedded players) according to settings chosen by your administrator. All filtering happens locally in your browser.
The extension collects no browsing history, no page content, no keystrokes, no personal information, and no usage analytics. It has no accounts and sets no tracking identifiers.
The extension makes exactly one type of outbound request: it periodically
downloads an updated blocking-rules file from
filter.tag.org. This request contains no user data — it is a plain
file download, like fetching a stylesheet.
Settings are delivered through Chrome's managed policy mechanism by your organization's administrator, or stored locally on your own device. They never leave the browser.
